since my hair is now graying, I wanted charcoal. it is not as harsh as black. easy to apply, doesn't stay all day

The eyeliner does not go on as a smooth line, it's thicker and much darker black than what I'm use to.

I have tried more expensive gel eyeliners over the years and keep coming back to this one. No eyeliner I have found is perfect, but this one lasts pretty long, and when it wears off by the end of the day, it wears evenly so that basically you look like you have eyeshadow on. Lasts much longer than other brands I've tried. Will continue to repurchase.

Great product used it for many years

Only purchased as I had a gift card to use. First time using the eyeliner the end snapped off- some might say it was my fault unwinding it out too much. But I know I didn't! I wouldn't pay this much normally but as I had a gift card I thought I'd treat myself. It's no different to any other eyeliner at much cheaper prices. It's fades during the day but on the one plus side it does come off easy with make up remover.

I have been using Revlon's color stay eyeliner for years. I always ordered in black/brown, and has no issues. This is the first time I ordered it in black. The black formulation seems very different. The liner is softer, glides on easily, however, this has become a con for me as it seems to break with almost every use.....then I am looking on the floor for that little chunk of black that broke off the pencil. The liner does live up to its name, lasts a very long time, no smudging or fading.....a huge plus! This is a highly pigmented eyeliner, and does have great color payoff, I would recommend the black/brown over the black.
