I have a few brushes that are similar to this that I've collected over the years, but I felt that I needed something that was overall more precise than what I have. I really wish I had bought this brush sooner! This brush is fantastic at creating a precise cut crease but it also makes blending it out a breeze. It's also great at precise application for shades in the outter v of the eye. I find that I'm using this brush every time I do my eye makeup and my eye makeup is looking really great because of it. Unlike some other reviewers I don't feel like this brush is too pokey at all. I actually find the bristles soft enough that they don't poke but stiff enough that they provide high pigment with precise application. I mean after all, the harder you press into your skin the more pokey any brush is going to feel. You don't need to dig this into your eye lid very hard for it to be effective. This brush has seriously stepped up my eye makeup overall and would wholeheartedly recommend it. It's worth every penny. Sigma never disappoints when it comes to quality and they are overall worth the extra few bucks especially considering that when they are well cared for they'll last you years. I've never had shedding issues with any Sigma brush. If you're having difficulties in creating a defined cut crease, this brush will change all that. This is definitely a must have brush.

I bought this brush 2 years ago, and finally came around to remember reviewing it. It's a fantastic brush! The brush has bristles made of black synthetic fibers and has a black wooden handle with metal ferrules that remain looking brand new to this day. The brush picks up pigment really well, places and blends out shadow seamlessly. Because of the shape of the brush, it is good for the outer V or outer corner of the eye. Personally I don't use it for my crease as I have monolid eyes, but it will give you precise placement of your eyeshadow if that's what your looking for! As for washing, this brush doesn't fray or have the ferrule get messed up by water. The bristles remain the same shape despite using baby shampoo and a silicone brush cleanser mat for cleansing and the ferrule has stayed absolutely secure. Also, this brush does not shed at all despite 2 years of use so far. Durability A+ Overall, this is an absolutely fantastic brush that places and blends eyeshadow like a breeze and is incredibly durable. If you're looking to invest in this brush, or Sigma brushes in general, I highly recommend giving it a try!

I think this is going to be my new favorite eye makeup brush. Its perfect for defining your crease. I find most brushes advertised to use for the crease to be too large. This brush is perfect because its got that tapered end which allows you to really get in there and define it very well without the product being dispersed everywhere and all over like the larger brushes do. I'm someone who lacks a crease, so this brush is perfect for me. Not to mention how soft it is too! Must buy product. UPDATE- this is the best eyeshadow brush ive ever used ever!! I am OBSESSED! Im so annoyed I didnt get my hands on it sooner! It is perfect and creates a gorgeous soft blend. My muse is kylie jenner for makeup and I feel like this brush allows me to create that soft water color like crease ariel tejada does on kylie jenner. This is a must get brush. I wanna buy another!

I needed good blending brushes but I can't afford a 25-35$ for a mac brush. So I asked around and seen that sigma are as good as mac but cheaper so I got the E35,E25 E30 E55 E45 and the E40. They are very good and soft, very easy to use and clean. Shipping was fast and I really like them. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5, when I washed them some of the hair came out. It was the first time I cleaned them. I don't know if that's normal or not. I haven't tried cleaning them again I'm scared.

I was so excited to finally receive my brushes. I ordered the "Eye Kit" and five additional brushes to have the full set of eye brushes. I ripped the box open to find all the brushes in a cute mesh bag with a drawstring and each brush was in its own little plastic sleeve, none of the bristles has been bent or crumpled at a quick glance. There was a little card that explained to first clean before use soooo I did. No shedding & no dye flowed thur the soapy clear water :o). Once dry I went to apply my shadows with and the brush felt like silk in combination with my eye primer & eye shadows. I got a little more excited and decided to do the foiling technique....OMG!!! FLAWLESS!!! I soon found myself using each and every brush. The brushes are not heavily weighted so they really felt comfortable & easy to control unlike other brushes I've used. I'm looking forward to passing the word about Sigma. I recommend these brushed to anyone who is looking for the perfect brushes at a affordable price - the next order will be the face brushes.

I recently bought this product because it was from Sigma, a company which I love, and I also needed another blending brush. When I received it I was very puzzled, because it looked exactly like the sold out MAC 220 brush. I then decided to try out the brush, and was even more surprised to find out that it worked just as well as my MAC 220 brush. Did I mention that this brush is half the price of that brush! Super excited to find a dupe for that brush! It was my favorite from the MAC line and I was super sad when they took it off the market. An overview of the brush is that it is a medium sized blending brush. It picks up the eyeshadow very gently without wasting any, if you use it for applying color. When blending colors it works very well, evenly blending everything; including contrasting colors. It does this job without the dreaded over blending, and can even make cheap drugstore brands look good. I most certainly recommend buying this product.

This brush is SPECTACULAR. And I say that as a person who almost finds excuses to buy more brushes! But I have no longer have any reason to look for an eyeshadow brush for my outer-v. I have slightly hooded/deep set set eyes, and this brush fits perfectly into the small outer corner of my eye and places dark shadows so precisely, so I have minimal clean up to do with concealer to create a sharp shadow/liner look. I have to say though, that I thought this was a bit pricey for a brush that isn't a big brand name, but maybe I just need to get off my elitist makeup brand horse and start seeing Sigma brushes as on par with Mac brushes (because frankly, Mac brushes aren't what they used to be and this Sigma products continue to impress me).
