great for nail art as a barrier product!
For a "barrier" product for nail art, I got this liquid latex. I found that Elmer's Glue takes forever to dry, and nail art-exclusive products are extremely expensive for the amount in the container. This jar will last me to beyond the grave. Do plan on some "dry time," though, as drying isn't instantaneous. 15-20 minutes is how long I wait. This product peels off like a dream, leaving no color residue on skin. Just rub it off with your finger. Doesn't come with a brush. Don't try to transfer some to an empty nail polish bottle; it dries too quickly! Just use right out of the jar. Work on a piece of paper because the jar is full to the brim; and it's easy to slosh some out. * At first, I used a cheap child's paintbrush from Dollar Tree. It's difficult, if not impossible without ruining the brush, to remove the latex from the bristles, so this was not a feasible option for me. The difficulty in cleaning the dry latex off a brush is nother reason not to transfer to an empty fingernail polish bottle: you'll use quite a bit and you'll have the messy chore of refilling the bottle (with a teensy opening, remember!) when the product gets below the level where the brush is submerged. * Then I tried my rubber tip cuticle pusher. Perfect! I just smooth it around. (I suppose this would work with a wooden one, too, because the product pees right off. In fact, any flat and smooth would work, such as the bowl of a teaspoon.) * A disposable option is a Q-Tip. Roll the head around between your fingers to compress the fibers. Dip the head half-way into the product, to coat the entire perimeter; this also helps tame errant fibers. Then start spreading. (I don't dip more than half-way, but higher might work better for you.) Teal is the cheapest color (or was, when I ordered), but there are other colors for a dollar or two more if teal doesn't ring your bell. Recommend! mb

As a Cosplayer, Thrilled By This Dang Good Body Paint
Bought this for a cosplay and I'm here to tell you this stuff (despite bad reviews because some products arrived dried) is Amazing When It Arrives Fine. I ordered the Teal, afraid I was gonna get a dried up mess but no! This is some dang good liquid latex body paint. Obvious elements include that it dries super fast, so be careful and consider doing layers and letting each layer dry in between so you don't get a gooey mess (i.e. just like with nailpolish coats, once you lay 'em down, don't mess with them). This stuff WILL adhere to any hair like nobody's business, so you either must shave in the target area or use a prep lotion. But with two coats of this stuff plus a setting spray and some setting powder on top (to stop it from feeling tacky and take away the shine on top, you could also use baby powder), looked great and I accidentally scratched on the spot forgetting I had a test swatch on and the paint didn't even move! If you paint it in an area that doesn't see a lot of chafe, I bet this body paint is Con-Proof. 10/10 would recommend. Pictures are of before I set it with powder, so its original shiny glory.

Perfect for Nail Art!
I use this paint for my nail art so that I can stamp and sponge without getting polish all over my fingers. Works amazingly well. It dries fast and you can tell its dry because the color gets darker when it is dry. There are a lot of companies selling liquid latex paint in nail polish bottles branded specifically for nail art. Those cost just as much, if not more than this product and you get 1/10th the amount! The trick is with using this instead, is that you have to pour some into a nail polish bottle to use with nail art, using a funnel or just a sheet of wax paper rolled up. Not that you could not use a small brush and dip it directly into the container, except that because it has such a wide opening that is exposed to air, I would imagine that you would either have to close it after every time you dip or else the top layer would dry up. Also, not having the brush concealed from air in between use would cause the paint on the brush to dry too. I just cleaned used nail polish bottles by adding some acetone and shaking them around until the paint was gone to get the job done but I believe you can also purchase empty nail polish bottles on eBay or Amazon really cheap.

With some practice, great for polishing the nails...
Purchased on a recommendation for outlining the nail before applying polish. I think it would work great for those who do nail art, but for just applying polish--not so much--or I need to practice a little more on how to apply it. Because it dries so quickly, I found it gunking up the little paint brush while applying it which meant I had to try cleaning the brush whilst using it. Also, it was hard to cover the edge of the cuticle where it meets the nail but perhaps it is the shape of my nail. Anyway, if you're a messy nail polish applier, then do try it. Comes off easily--just take tweezers, grab, and pull it off. I found that Amazon has the cheapest price on this item, and I searched everywhere. This plastic jar will last me until my dying breath so I believe this would be a one time purchase for any individual for at home use. I didn't find the smell to be so offensive that I would not use it, and it dissipates quickly when opened. Also, transferring some to a small container to use seems to be a smart thing to do since I am a chronic knock-over anything.

Not fully mixed? Sometimes wont dry
I bought this for nail art but it won't seem to dry at all - its been 20min and its still not dry so I think I'm looking at a waste of money. I have since tried this stuff a few more times and it will dry but there seems to be inconsistencies. Sometimes it works well, others it stays sticky so it's hit or miss.

Almost perfect.
Almost exactly what I was looking for. Arrived way earlier than expected. I was just hoping for something more opaque. I will use it for body painting and have tried it for nail art. It dries pretty fast if its in thin layers.

Great!
Quick shipping! The product is good, I use to for doing messy nail manicures and it works really well for that. There is a slight weird scent but its not too crazy.
